Happy Thursday! Let’s check out what’s going on in the hockey world:
- The Golden Knights’ rookies played their second exhibition game against the Los Angeles Kings in as many days and they won! First win in franchise history, baby! [Knights On Ice]
- Las Vegas may have the NHL’s newest franchise right now, but it might not be long before Seattle gets a hockey team of their own. [SB Nation]
- Buffalo Sabres star Jack Eichel thinks the NHL should get rid of the offsides rule, which would be, um, interesting. [SB Nation]
- The Colorado Avalanche can’t seem to figure out what to do with Matt Duchene, which should add a bit of intrigue to the preseason. [Sportsnet]
- There are some good free agents who still need to find a home. Not trying to get into specifics, but one particular player (Jaromir Jagr) would be awesome in a Golden Knights uniform. [NHL]
