Welcome to our game thread!

For the first time this year, we’re inviting you guys to chat about hockey happenings with us. The Vegas Golden Knights will take on the Colorado Avalanche at 6 p.m. PT and you can see it (yes, for real this time) on NHL Network.

Vegas is coming off an impressive 9-4 exhibition win over the Vancouver Canucks. Tyler Wong, the star of that game, is getting a rest tonight. So is Cody Glass. But, alas! Veterans will make their Vegas debut tonight.

Here’s the roster for tonight:

Forwards: Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, Erik Haula, Tomas Hyka, Oscar Lindberg, Jonathan Marchessault, David Perron, Teemu Pulkkinen, Vadim Shipachyov, Reilly Smith, Nick Suzuki, Paul Thompson, Alex Tuch

Defensemen: Deryk Engelland, Jason Garrison, Brad Hunt, Jon Merrill, Colin Miller, Luca Sbisa

Goaltenders: Maxime Lagace, Oscar Dansk

Lagace will get the start in goal tonight, per coach Gerard Gallant. We also get Vadim Shipachyov’s debut, so get hyped, y’all. As you can see, plenty of veterans will also wear the Golden Knights jersey on the ice for the first time, as well.

Let’s talk hockey!
