Let’s go over some news and notes:

- The Golden Knights looked like themselves again last night, handily defeating the Ducks 5-0 after a rough road trip. [KOI]

- Not everything is positive, though. It was confirmed at morning skate yesterday that Erik Haula is month-to-month, and that’s not good. [KOI]

- Even despite Haula’s injury, if you think the Knights are out of the Pacific race, you’ve done lost your mind. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]

In other news...

- There was a trade yesterday! The Penguins sent Carl Hagelin to the Kings for Tanner Pearson. [PensBurgh]

- Kings defenseman Drew Doughty doesn’t appear to be handling the news very well. [NHL]

- Daniel Carcillo played a rough style when he was in the league, but now he’s working effortlessly to make sure others don’t go down the same path. [New York Times]

- Grading past draft classes is always fun. So here’s just that. [The Athletic]
