In case you didn't know, hockey players can be superstitious creatures. Prior to Game 2 Marc-Andre Fleury mocked Alex Ovechkin by squirting Gatorade over his spot on the ice, which is one of Ovechkin's pre-game ritual. But Ovechkin got Fleury back before Game 5 when he skated over center ice and slashed Flower on his pads. MAF took exception to this and chased Ovi across the ice, but nothing transpired. He later got him back with a slash of his own near the end of warmups. The two smiled and skated away. You gotta love hockey players and their many superstitions.
