GAMEDAY THREAD 50/82: Pittsburgh Penguins at Golden Knights

Come chat with us as the Golden Knights take on the Penguins.

NHL: Pittsburgh Penguins at Vegas Golden Knights Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

The Golden Knights kick off a three-game homestand as they host the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight at T-Mobile Arena.

Vegas is coming off a disappointing 4-1 loss to the Jets and will look to get back in the win column tonight against the Penguins, who picked up a 3-2 overtime win last night in Arizona.

Clearly, tonight is a meaningful game for Marc-Andre Fleury, who will face his former team for just the third time in his career. Casey DeSmith is expected to start for Pittsburgh since Matt Murray manned the crease last night against the Coyotes.

Colin Miller, who hasn’t played since Dec. 17, is a game-time decision for tonight’s contest; if he’s able to go, he’ll likely replace Jon Merrill on the third pairing.

Here are the projected lineups for both clubs:

Golden Knights

Marchessault — Karlsson — Pirri
Pacioretty — Stastny — Tuch
Lindberg — Eakin — Carpenter
Nosek — Bellemare — Reaves

McNabb — Schmidt
