Let’s go over some news and notes:

- The Golden Knights beat the Kings for the second time in a row last night. Four straight wins, baby! [KOI]

- Want to know who scored the game-winner against the Kings? You already know. The man, the myth, the legend. Brandon Pirri. He’s too good for the AHL, folks. [KOI]

- Pirri isn’t the only Knight playing really well right now, though. That Paul Stastny guy’s been pretty good as well. [Las Vegas Review Journal]

- The Bruins beat the Blackhawks in yesterday’s Winter Classic, so hooray, I guess? [Stanley Cup of Chowder]
