Let’s go over some news and notes:

- The Golden Knights have now won five (5!) straight games. Not a bad way to respond after losing 10 of their previous 13. [KOI]

- What should you watch for in the homestretch of the regular season? Danny has you covered. [KOI]

- Shea Theodore joined Greg Wyshynski and Emily Kaplan to talk about how he’s going to win the Selke one day. [ESPN]

- Malcolm Subban doesn’t get a ton of playing time. But when he does, he’s usually pretty good. [Las Vegas Sun]

- The Golden Knights took full advantage of their own expansion draft, but they may be able to get a leg up ahead of Seattle’s expansion draft as well. [The Athletic]

In other news...

- The Blues made the Ducks look incredibly stupid last night. It really was a thing of beauty. [St. Louis Game Time]

- The Bruins are using David Backes as an enforcer now? Yeah, that’s probably not a good idea. [The Hockey News]

- The NHL needed Gritty. [12up]
