The Vegas Golden Knights have another chance to close out this best-of-seven first-round series against San Jose tonight as they host the Sharks for Game 6. This is the first time in franchise history that the Knights have a chance to close out a series on home ice.
Vegas was unable to take care of business on the road in Game 5 as the Sharks pulled off a 5-2 win at SAP Center to stay alive.
Following the win, second-line center Tomas Hertl guaranteed a Game 7 because the Sharks are a “better team” than the Knights.

However, Vegas will have something to say about that tonight. Even though it’s not truly a do-or-die situation for the Knights, tonight is essentially a must-win game for Vegas to avoid going back to San Jose for a winner-takes-all Game 7 showdown.
