Let’s go over some news and notes:

- Does Cody Eakin’s five-minute major in Game 7 make his postseason a total failure? No, but some people will look at it that way. [The Athletic]

- Nick Suzuki is no longer in the Golden Knights’ system. And that really stinks, because he’s killing it in the OHL playoffs. [The Hockey News]
