Let’s go over some news and notes:

- Golden Knights forward Mark Stone is so good, but apparently he’s only “35th-best player in the NHL” good. Doesn’t seem quite right! [KOI]

- The Top 25 Under 25 list has reached the top 10! At No. 10 is Danish forward Jonas Rondbjerg. [KOI]

- Yeah, the Golden Knights prospects are 0-2 in the Rookie Faceoff, but they’ll be back in action today looking for vengeance. [Golden Knights]

- Don’t sleep on Dylan Coghlan, folks! [Golden Knights]

- Remember how the Golden Knights’ preseason games from years past were basically impossible to watch on TV? Well, things will be different this year.

In other news...

- It’s looking like the Ducks and Hurricanes are working on a deal for defenseman Justin Faulk. [Anaheim Calling]

- A restricted free agent defenseman signed yesterday! Zach Werenski is locked up for three years with an AAV of $5 million. [The Cannon]

- Look at the absolutely disgusting goal Kaapo Kakko scored yesterday. The Rangers got a good one.
