Vegas Golden Knights prospect Brendan Brisson is going to the Olympics.

Yesterday the Team USA Men’s Olympic roster was announced, and the Golden Knights’ 2020 first-round pick was on the list.

Brisson is currently a member of the University of Michigan Wolverines, and in 23 games he’s tallied 14 goals, 13 assists, and 27 points. This is an improvement over his 2020-21 campaign in which he finished with a line of 10-11-21 in 24 games.

This is the second time Brisson has represented the United States in an international tournament, as the 6’0”, 185-pound pivot participated in the World Juniors Championship in 2021 where he won a Gold Medal.

Men’s hockey at the 2022 Winter Olympics is scheduled to start on Wednesday, February 9. The United States’ first game is currently scheduled for 8:10 a.m. ET vs. China. They will then square off vs. Canada at 11:10 p.m. ET on Friday, February 11. The United States’ last game scheduled is Sunday, February 13 vs. Germany at 8:10 a.m. After that is the qualifying round and subsequent tournament playoffs.
