The Vegas Golden Knights (13-4-0, 26 points) have hit a small skid losing two in a row after winning nine in a row, and tonight they take on the Arizona Coyotes (6-8-1, 13 points). Phil Kessel will be skating in his 1,000th consecutive game, and he does so against the team he played for last season.

Vegas continues to be an offensive force and has scored 61 goals, they’ve allowed 42 against, and they have slid to third in the league with a .765 points percentage. Arizona has scored the second-fewest goals in the league at 40, they’ve allowed 54 against, and sit 26th in the league with a .433 points percentage.

Tonight’s matchup is the first of three games between Vegas and the Yotes, and after tonight’s contest the two sides will meet again on December 21. Here are some numbers of note for both teams, and how they compare in some key areas.
