GAME THREAD 23/82: Vegas Golden Knights at Arizona Coyotes

The Golden Knights head to Arizona to take on the Coyotes following a brutal 7-2 defeat the other night in Calgary. Vegas has a 4-1-0 all-time record against the Coyotes (9-9-1), who are tied with the Knights in points with 19, good for sixth overall in the Pacific Division.

The Coyotes are coming off a 2-1 loss to the Bruins and have alternated wins and losses over their last five games.

Backup netminder Darcy Kuemper will make his eighth straight start with Antti Raanta on the shelf with a lower-body injury. Defenseman Alex Goligoski is expected to be back in the ‘Yotes’ lineup tonight after missing several games. Jakob Chychrun will also return to the lineup for tonight’s contest.

Michael Grabner will shift to the team’s second line to skate with Clayton Keller and Derek Stepan. Keller and captain Oliver Ekman-Larsson are tied for the team lead in points with 12. Grabner and Vinnie Hinostroza each have 10.
