GAMEDAY THREAD 32/82: Dallas Stars at Vegas Golden Knights

Yesterday’s matinee against the Kings did not go well, as the Golden Knights (16-14-1) suffered a 5-1 loss in Los Angeles. Today’s matchup pits the Knights against the Dallas Stars (16-10-3) at T-Mobile Arena.

With Oscar Lindberg scoring his first goal of the season in yesterday’s loss, the only players in the regular lineup that have yet to light the lamp this season are Ryan Carpenter and Brayden McNabb.

Vegas has a 9-3-1 record on home ice this season and will look to get back in the win column. One player who has yet do that this year is Malcolm Subban, who is expected to get the nod today. Subban is 0-4-0 with a 4.03 goals-against average and .859 save percentage. He and the Knights will be tasked with shutting down Dallas’ high-powered top line of Tyler Seguin, Jamie Benn and Alexander Radulov, who have combined for 72 points this season.

John Klingberg remains out of the lineup for the Stars, though Martin Hanzal made his season debut the other night against the Sharks. He will shift down to the fourth line for tonight’s tilt.

No lineup changes are expected for Vegas, but Cody Eakin will be particularly eager to have a strong game against his former team.

Here are the projected lineups for both clubs:
