GAMEDAY THREAD 36/82: Vegas Golden Knights at Columbus Blue Jackets

The Golden Knights are coming off an impressive road performance despite escaping with a 4-3 overtime victory. Tonight’s matchup pits them against Blue Jackets netminder Sergei Bobrovsky, against whom the Knights scored five goals last season.

It will be William Karlsson’s second trip back to Columbus since being selected by the Knights in the expansion draft. He has two goals and three points in three games against his former team.

As crazy as it sounds, Marc-Andre Fleury could make his 14th straight start tonight, which would also be the third time in a row he’d be starting both games of a back-to-back set. Otherwise, it’ll be Malcolm Subban getting the nod for the first time since Nov. 19.

The All-American line of Paul Stastny, Alex Tuch and Max Pacioretty looked great in New York yesterday afternoon and will look to build on that performance tonight in Columbus as the Knights look to extend their point streak to five games.

Update: Artemi Panarin will NOT play for Columbus tonight; Anthony Duclair will enter the Jackets’ lineup.
Update: Subban starting tonight. Looks like Ryan Carpenter and Jon Merrill are tonight’s healthy scratches.

Here are the projected lineups for both clubs:
