GAMEDAY THREAD 44/82: Golden Knights at Anaheim Ducks

The Golden Knights are undefeated in 2019 after coming off a 2-0 win against Los Angeles, and they have won four games in a row. Vegas (24-15-4) is second in the Pacific Division with 52 points, trailing Calgary by just two points after the Flames suffered a 6-4 loss to Boston last night.

The Ducks, on the other hand, have dropped to fourth place with just 45 points and enter tonight’s contest with an 0-4-2 record over their last six games. Anaheim has changed up its line combinations, with Ondrej Kase getting bumped to the second line in favor of Daniel Sprong; also, Pontus Aberg is now on the fourth line, with Kiefer Sherwood getting top-line minutes with Ryan Getzlaf.

It appears as though Max Pacioretty will return to the Knights’ lineup tonight, especially since the Knights did the unthinkable by sending Brandon Pirri down to the AHL. Oscar Lindberg seems to be the odd man out with Tomas Nosek set to start on the the third line with Cody Eakin and Ryan Carpenter.

Here are the projected lineups for both clubs:

Nosek — Eakin — Carpenter
