GAMEDAY THREAD 58/82: Arizona Coyotes at Vegas Golden Knights

The Golden Knights will look to bounce back tonight against the Coyotes after a disappointing 4-3 loss to Columbus over the weekend.

It appears as though Brandon Pirri will draw back into the lineup and will be on the third line with Cody Eakin and either Oscar Lindberg or Valentin Zykov. The rest of the lineup will remain the same.

Arizona has struggled since the All-Star break, going 1-3-1 in its last five games. The Coyotes are six points out of a wildcard slot, so every game is crucial to their hopes of remaining in the playoff hunt.

Vegas now holds a nine-point lead over Vancouver for the third slot in the Pacific Division but trails San Jose and Calgary by nine and eight points, respectively. The Knights have gone 2-3 in their last five games, so tonight’s matchup presents a key opportunity for Vegas to get back on track.
