GAMEDAY THREAD 68/82: Calgary Flames at Vegas Golden Knights

The Golden Knights host the Flames tonight at T-Mobile Arena as Vegas’ stretch of games against Pacific Division opponents continues. Vegas enters tonight’s contest having won each of its last four games, and Marc-Andre Fleury has recorded back-to-back shutouts.

The Flames are currently in first place in the Pacific with 89 points, holding a 12-point lead over the Knights. However, if San Jose re-claims the division lead and Vegas holds off Arizona, tonight’s matchup could very well be a preview of round one of the playoffs.

After winning seven games in a row at the end of February, Calgary has now lost two straight. The Flames made a few line changes ahead of tonight’s game, putting Matthew Tkachuk on the top line with Sean Monahan and Johnny Gaudreau and moving Andrew Mangiapane to the second line.
