The Golden Knights are in British Columbia tonight to take on the Vancouver Canucks for the second time this week. Marc-Andre Fleury recorded a 19-save shutout in a 3-0 win when these teams met in Vegas last weekend.
Fleury has been outstanding in March, boasting a 3-0-0 record with a 0.33 goals-against average and .989 save percentage. He has given up just one goal this month and is a huge reason why the Knights enter tonight’s game with wins in five straight.
The Canucks are nine points out of a wildcard spot and 14 points behind the Knights for the third slot in the Pacific Division. Vancouver is 1-3-1 in its last five games.
Jake Virtanen will be back in the lineup for Vancouver tonight; he is set to skate on the top line with Bo Horvat and Antoine Roussel. For the Knights, it appears as though Brandon Pirri will come out of the lineup in favor of Tomas Nosek, who will skate on the fourth line; Ryan Carpenter will move up to take Pirri’s place on the third line.
