GAMEDAY THREAD: Western Conference Final, Game 1 — Golden Knights starting Marc-Andre Fleury vs. Stars
That was unexpected. Let’s talk about it.

The Golden Knights are indeed rolling with Marc-Andre Fleury in net for Game 1 against the Dallas Stars. Robin Lehner started three of the past four game, including a 14-save shutout in Game 7 on Friday against the Vancouver Canucks.
Lehner saw an average of 17.6 shots in the final three games, so this decision doesn’t pop off as giving Lehner a “needed” rest.
Alas, it is Fleury getting the call against Anton Khudobin to kick off the series.
Golden Knights lineup

Max Pacioretty — Chandler Stephenson — Mark Stone
Nicolas Roy — Paul Stastny — Alex Tuch
William Carrier — Tomas Nosek — Nick Cousins
Brayden McNabb — Nate Schmidt
