NBC Sports Network to televise five Golden Knights games this season
The country will get a slice of Vegas five times on the national tube.
The Vegas Golden Knights will be shown five times on national TV this upcoming season, NBC Sports announced Monday.
NBC Sports Network will carry Vegas’ Oct. 10 home opener against the Arizona Coyotes, and will not be shown again until the Dec. 28 matchup against the Los Angeles Kings in Staples Center.
Vegas will be back on the national airwaves Feb. 2 at Minnesota. The Kings’ visit to T-Mobile Arena on Feb. 27 will be the only other home game on NBCSN this year.
The March 22 game against the San Jose Sharks, barring an unfathomable playoff run, will be the last time Vegas is on national TV.
Those five games will be strictly on NBCSN, while the other 77 will be strictly on AT&T SportsNet.
A couple of things to note: First, that’s a good number of games for a first-year club. Getting the home opener was an obvious call, but those aren’t bad choices for the other games. That Minnesota game should be fun.
Second, this.
The @NHLonNBCSports schedule is out. Winners/losers post upcoming on Puck Daddy. One thing: Vegas (5) has more games than 16(!!!) teams /1

And Vegas has nearly one-third as many games as Chicago (17) and Philadelphia (16). Set your DVRs right now.
