Golden Knights, NHL to donate $300,000 to Las Vegas shooting victims
The Golden Knights are already making a difference.
The events that occurred this week in Las Vegas were nothing short of horrifying. A town known for its laid back, fun atmosphere has suddenly been crippled indefinitely by a tragedy unparalleled in United States history.
While the Vegas Golden Knights have become somewhat of an afterthought for most Las Vegans in what is normally a busy week for the NHL, they’ve wasted no time trying to make a difference for those impacted by this disaster.
On Tuesday, the Golden Knights announced they had partnered up with the NHL to make a $300,000 joint donation to the victims of the Las Vegas shootings.
Along with the donation, all 31 NHL teams will honor those whose lives were lost in the tragedy.
In addition, under the banner "Vegas United," the League, its clubs and the players will honor the victims at season-opening games this week pic.twitter.com/oycrDHWjLI— Vegas Golden Knights (@GoldenKnights) October 3, 2017
If you also want to make a donation, you can do so through The Vegas Golden Knights Foundation.
