The tour starts from Las Vegas toward their first stop in Coeur d’Alene on the 15th. Pickard is expected to be in attendance. The team will then make three stops in Monday, the first of which in Whitefish on Wednesday the 16th with Bischoff and Tuch. The second at Rock Creek Cattle Company in Deer Lodge on the Thursday, and the last in Big Sky State in Bozeman on the 18th with Schmidt.

The final stop on the road trip will be in Salt Lake City on Aug. 19 with Gallant and Kelly, the Golden Knights’ assistant coach.

Gary Lawless spoke with Schmidt about the event on the team’s official website.

“When I heard the news that we were doing [the road trip] it seemed like a great opportunity to go out and see people and have a chance to grow our brand as the new Golden Knights. It’s an opportunity to meet some kids,” said Schmidt. “When I was growing up in Minnesota, I would have loved to have met Mike Modano at my local rink. I’m looking forward to seeing our young fans.”
