Golden Knights put Lauzon on IR, recall Laczynski

The Vegas Golden Knights placed defenseman Jeremy Lauzon on injured reserve on Tuesday.

Lauzon is the latest Golden Knight set to miss time as the injuries pile up for the Golden Knights. He joins Mark Stone, William Karlsson and Adin Hill, all of whom are on injured reserve, with Stone and Hill on long-term IR.

Lauzon sustained an indisclosed injury in Vegas’ 4-1 win against the St. Louis Blues on Saturday and missed Sunday’s game against Minnesota.

Ben Hutton returned to the lineup and will remain on the Vegas blue line for Tuesday’s contest against the Rangers.

Lauzon was acquired from Nashville in the offseason as part of the Nicolas Hague trade, which also included Colton Sissons.

Lauzon recorded four assists, 57 hits, 26 blocks and a plus-three rating in 17 games this season, averaging 15:54 per game. He leads the Golden Knights with 28 penalty minutes.

The former second-round pick missed extensive time last season, playing just 28 games after suiting up in 79 and 67 games in the previous two seasons, respectively.

The Golden Knights announced Tuesday that the club has recalled forward Tanner Laczynski from the Henderson Silver Knights. Laczynski has four goals and nine points in 13 games with Henderson this season after recording 37 points in 41 games last year.

Laczynski scored one goal in eight games with Vegas in the 2024-25 season and has three goals and five points in 46 career NHL games with the Philadelphia Flyers and Golden Knights.
