Golden Knights’ Reverse Retro uniforms may have leaked

The Vegas Golden Knights are expected to be rocking some new Reverse Retro uniforms this coming season, and if the threads currently circulating the internet are legit, they sure are, well, interesting.

According to a report from Icethetics — one of the top news sources for hockey logo and uniform info — a leaked photo of the Golden Knights’ claimed Reverse Retro uniform is indeed authentic. Twitter user @AliMurji1 first posted the photo of the uniform over the weekend.

The player photoshopped into the new uniform is former Golden Knight Alex Tuch, for what it’s worth.

At first glance, these uniforms almost look like a direct copy of the Vancouver Canucks’ throwback set — mainly black with gold and red striping and accents. But a closer look reveals some more Vegas-like details, like the downward facing sword on the pants, the somewhat medieval style number font and the diagonal letters stitched across the torso spelling “Vegas.”

Until the Golden Knights officially announce their new Reverse Retro uniforms, there’s no guarantee this set is indeed the real thing. But if it is, it’s about as Vegas as it gets.

What are your thoughts on these uniforms? Love ‘em? Hate ‘em? Sounds off below.
