Let’s go over some news and notes:

– The Golden Knights lost their fifth straight game at home last night. This time, it was the Maple Leafs leaving T-Mobile Arena with a victory. [KOI]

– Marc-Andre Fleury hasn’t been looking too hot recently. Maybe that’s because he’s 34 years old and is on pace to start close to 70 games this season. So I’m just going to leave this here. [KOI]

– The Golden Knights have more issues than just Fleury’s recent play, though. And those issues could hamper their ability to make the postseason. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]

– Many will say that Connor McDavid is the best hockey player in the world, but Sidney Crosby is proving that he hasn’t given up that title quite yet. [NHL]

– Cam Talbot’s days with the Oilers may be numbered. [Broad Street Hockey]
