Knights Nuggets: Apparently a hockey game was played last night
Start off your morning by reading up on some news and notes.
Let’s go over some news and notes:
- I heard the Golden Knights played a hockey game last night. And I’m using the word “played” very loosely. [KOI]
- Was this the Golden Knights’ worst showing of the season? It’s certainly hard to come up with a performance as horrible as last night’s. [Las Vegas Sun]
- How did Nate Schmidt do in his first game of the season? Pretty darn good! Now let’s just pretend yesterday didn’t happen. [KOI]
In other news...
- The Los Angeles Kings just fired their head coach. The Kings ended up beating the St. Louis Blues last night. And now the Blues have fired their coach. It’s a vicious cycle. [NHL]
- Don’t look now, but the Buffalo Sabres may actually be good! Maybe even good enough to make the postseason. [ESPN]
- Tom Wilson says it’s not his intent to hurt people, which, in my opinion, is hilarious. [The Athletic]
- Sometimes you just have to give credit where credit’s due. What a cool exchange between Alex Ovechkin and Carey Price.
Even Alex Ovechkin is applauding that Carey Price save.
