Knights Nuggets: Team apologizes for Sunday night’s controversial tweet

Happy Tuesday! Let’s check out what’s going on with the Golden Knights:

– The Golden Knights’ twitter account has been the recipient of criticism after a tweet that many perceived as a sexist remark prior to their game against the Boston Bruins. The team came out and apologized Monday, but that’s not keeping people from being upset. [Las Vegas Review-Journal]

– The Golden Knights signed Vadim Shipachyov to a two-year deal worth $4.5 million per season. What do those numbers tell us about what we can expect from him on the ice? [Knights On Ice]

– The first home game at the T-Mobile Arena was so incredible, we feel like we need to relive it. Our own Daniel Friedman gives us a flashback. [Knights On Ice]

– Speaking of which, if you have yet to watch the Knights at the T-Mobile Arena, you should. Not only because the team is awesome, but also because the food is pretty freaking terrific. [Sports Illustrated]
