– Buffalo Sabres star Jack Eichel thinks the NHL should get rid of the offsides rule, which would be, um, interesting. [SB Nation]
– The Colorado Avalanche can’t seem to figure out what to do with Matt Duchene, which should add a bit of intrigue to the preseason. [Sportsnet]
