We’re looking for writers to cover the Golden Knights and more

Hi! Do you like writing? Do you like writing about hockey? Would you like to write about the Vegas Golden Knights? Or the Chicago Wolves? Or the Fort Wayne Komets? Then this post is for you.

With the new season approaching, we are looking for a few good men and women to join our wonderful staff. It’s an 82-game season, so there’s a lot going on. We are looking to fill some positions that range from beat writer to gameday staff. Oh, and other fun things too like photography and such. You’re affiliated covering an organization that just won the Western Conference championship. Pretty cool, I’d say.

Chicago Wolves — Beat writer

We are looking for someone in the Chicago-area to cover the Wolves, the AHL affiliate of the  Golden Knights. It is preferred that the selected candidate be available for Wolves practices and home games. Road game requests can be made if available. Prior sports writing experience is preferred for this position. Requirements for this position will include game coverage, news stories, and features.

Fort Wayne Komets — Beat writer

We are looking for someone in the Fort Wayne area to cover the Komets, the ECHL affiliate of the Golden Knights. It is preferred that the selected candidate be available for Wolves practices and home games. Road game requests can be made if available. Prior sports writing experience is preferred for this position. Requirements for this position will include game coverage, news stories, and features on site.

Photographers and Videographers

This is open to those in the Las Vegas, Chicago and Fort Wayne areas. Prior sports photography experience is preferred, but not required. If interested, please send a separate email outside of this form to set up further correspondence.

Golden Knights game coverage, features

We are also searching for writers who can help assist with Golden Knights coverage as well. These positions can be filled from Las Vegas or remotely. Writers will contribute to game coverage on gamedays and contribute to features throughout the season.
