Marc-Andre Fleury might have made the save of the preseason

The Vegas Golden Knights took on the San Jose Sharks Sunday night in a good old-fashioned preseason clash. The exhibition was the preseason finale for both teams, so the focus after the game immediately shifted towards the start of the regular season.

But despite the insignificance of the matchup, Golden Knights netminder Marc-Andre Fleury gave us one of the most glorious saves we’ve seen all preseason.

And I can’t stop watching it.

Absolute robbery.

Poor Mikkel Boedker thought he had an easy goal, but Flower clearly had something else in mind.

Despite his miraculous save, though, Fleury and the Golden Knights fell to the Sharks by a score of 5-3.

The Sharks will begin the regular season on Wednesday when they take on the Philadelphia Flyers at the SAP Center. The Golden Knights will open their season on the road against the Dallas Stars on Friday, October 6.

Meaningful hockey is finally here, folks!
