Marc-Andre Fleury wins inaugural Save Streak challenge
The Flower turned away 14 consecutive shots from Atlantic Division shooters.
The Save Streak challenge made its debut at this year’s All-Star game and Vegas Golden Knights goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury walked away victorious, turning aside 14 straight shots from Atlantic Division All-Stars.
Nashville Predators stopper Pekka Rinne appeared too good to beat, stopping 13 consecutive efforts from Metropolitan Division shooters, but the Flower was able to prevail.
The Vegas netminder had a few quality saves, but perhaps none as gorgeous as this Dominik Hasek-esque effort against Brayden Point of the Tampa Bay Lightning:

Although Flower did make a handful of nice saves, he had his posts to thank for a few of the Atlantic Division shooters who were turned away.
Fleury, known league-wide as one of the most fun-loving players in the NHL, chose “Let It Go” from the Frozen soundtrack as his shootout song of choice.
What a guy.
