Pacioretty had wrist surgery less than a month ago and was expected to be out indefinitely, but apparently he’ll be ready to go soon.

Alec Martinez is also a player who needs a little more time before returning from injury.
Pete DeBoer says Martinez is not playing tonight. He doesn’t have a date for him to return but he’s “hopeful that at some point on this upcoming road trip” Martinez could play.

Martinez has been out since November 11th as a result of a facial laceration after taking a skate to the face.
After tonight’s game vs. Montreal, the Golden Knights will hit the road where they will play vs. the Capitals in Washington on January 24, the Hurricanes in Carolina on January 25, the Panthers in Sunrise on January 27, and they will finish their road trip vs. the Lightning in Tampa Bay on Saturday, January 29.
