Mark Stone and Nic Hague Enter COVID Protocol, Pacioretty Expected to Travel on Upcoming Road Trip

The Vegas Golden Knights play tonight vs. the Montreal Canadiens, and there’s both good news and bad news involving the team. The bad news is that Mark Stone and Nic Hague are unavailable as both have entered the COVID protocol.

The good news, also via Jesse Granger, is that Max Pacioretty was at practice today and he’s expected to join the Golden Knights on their upcoming road trip where he could potentially play!

Pacioretty had wrist surgery less than a month ago and was expected to be out indefinitely, but apparently he’ll be ready to go soon.

Alec Martinez is also a player who needs a little more time before returning from injury.

Martinez has been out since November 11th as a result of a facial laceration after taking a skate to the face.

After tonight’s game vs. Montreal, the Golden Knights will hit the road where they will play vs. the Capitals in Washington on January 24, the Hurricanes in Carolina on January 25, the Panthers in Sunrise on January 27, and they will finish their road trip vs. the Lightning in Tampa Bay on Saturday, January 29.
