Golden Knights at Kraken: Preview and Open Game Thread

The Vegas Golden Knights will once again face off against the Seattle Kraken, and tonight they will attempt to sweep the season series. The Golden Knights enter tonight with a record of 37-28-4 (78 points), and are 5-5-0 over their last 10 games played, including three wins in a row. Seattle has a record of 21-40-6 (48 points), and is 4-5-1 over the last 10 games played.

Last game out the Golden Knights defeated Seattle 3-0, and received excellent goaltending from Logan Thompson, and Jonathan Marchessault tallied a goal and an assist to lead the way offensively.

Tonight’s another important game for the Golden Knights as they attempt to play themselves back into the playoff picture.


Standings Update

Vegas remains on the outside looking in, and they trail the Dallas Stars by one point, and the Stars have three games in hand. The Golden Knights also trail the Edmonton Oilers for third place in the division by two points. Edmonton’s played 68 games thus far, and tonight will be Vegas’ 70th of the season.
