Golden Knights to Play 12 Regular Season Games on National TV

Today both of the NHL’s broadcasting partners, ESPN/ABC and TNT, announced their programming for the upcoming season, and the Vegas Golden Knights are scheduled to appear in 12 games on national TV.

October 11th’s game is part of a doubleheader on ESPN which will first feature a 2022 Eastern Conference Final rematch with the New York Rangers facing off against the Tampa Bay Lightning. The Golden Knights will play another five games on ESPN, four on TNT one on ESPN+/HULU, and one on ABC.

The opponents are a bit of a mixed bag involving some division rivals, the aforementioned Rangers and Lightning, as well as games vs. a contender like the Carolina Hurricanes, and an up-and-coming Ottawa Senators squad which made some major moves during the offseason.

Overall it gives the Golden Knights some good exposure, and an opportunity to show off their talent, and hopefully prove that last year’s struggles because of injuries was a one off fluke.

Are there any of these national games you are looking forward to? If so, let us know in the comments below.
