Vegas Golden Knights center Tomas Hertl was named to Team Czechia on Tuesday when three more countries unveiled their rosters for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026.

The 32-year-old native of Prague is fourth in scoring on the Golden Knights with 15 goals and 30 points in 40 games this season. He is second on the team with two game-winning goals.

Hertl will be one of seven Golden Knights at the Olympics.

Jack Eichel and Noah Hanifin were named to the United States’ roster, while Mark Stone, Mitch Marner and Shea Theodore will represent Canada. Jonas Rondbjerg will play for Denmark.

The other NHL players named to Team Czechia include forwards David Pastrnak (BOS), Martin Necas (COL), Ondrej Palat (NJD), Pavel Zacha (BOS), David Kampf (VAN) and Radek Faksa (DAL), as well as defensemen Radko Gudas (ANA), David Spacek (MIN) and Filip Hronek (VAN). Patrolling the crease for Czechia will be goaltenders Lukas Dostal (ANA), Dan Vladar (PHI) and Karel Vejmelka (UTA).

Former NHL players include forwards Roman Cervenka, David Tomasek (recently bought out by Edmonton), Lukas Sedlak, Dominik Kubalik and Ondrej Kase as well as defensemen Michal Kempny, Tomas Kundratek, Jan Rutta and Radim Simek.

Forwards Kaspars Daugavins and Rudolfs Balcers formerly played in the NHL.

Alex Texier (MTL) is the only current NHL player who will represent France. However, former Golden Knights forward Pierre-Edouard Bellemare, now 40, was named to the team.

Denmark, Germany, Italy Slovakia and Switzerland have yet to announce their full rosters.

This is the first time since 2014 that NHL players will participate in the Olympics. The men’s hockey tournament is set to begin Feb. 11, with the gold medal game scheduled for Feb. 22.
