Golden Knights exhibition game to air on NHL Network, round robin on AT&T SportsNet

Hockey will be on our television sets starting today with three exhibition games. That’s fantastic. What is also fantastic is the clarity in the Vegas Golden Knights’ broadcast situation heading into their upcoming games.

The Golden Knights announced Thursday’s exhibition game against the Arizona Coyotes will be on NHL Network. It was also confirmed that the three round robin games Vegas plays in will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet Rocky Mountain.

NHL Network will carry the Fox Sports Arizona feed due to transmission difficulties, the Golden Knights said.

Vegas will play its first game in more than four months Thursday at 7 p.m. against the Coyotes, who will use this tune-up game before playing the Nashville Predators in a best-of-5 qualifying round series to determine who advances to the round of 16.

The Golden Knights are playing against the Dallas Stars (Aug. 3), St. Louis Blues (Aug. 6) and Colorado Avalanche (Aug. 8) in the round robin to determine seeding for the West in the round of 16, which will turn into a best-of-7.
