Golden Knights announce training camp roster and schedule
Full speed ahead.
The Vegas Golden Knights will open training camp for the 2021 season on Monday at City National Arena.
Thirty-six skaters and four goalies are expected to take part in camp for the Golden Knights’ fourth season. Vegas begins its new season Jan. 14 at home against the Anaheim Ducks.
One notable name missing from the released roster is Peyton Krebs. The prospect forward and 2019 first-round pick is expected to join the Golden Knights for camp upon completion of the IIHF World Juniors tournament with Team Canada, which plays Czech Republic in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
Forward Jack Dugan is among those participating, as well. The Hobey Baker finalist signed a two-year entry-level deal with Vegas during the offseason. Dugan could compete for a role on the six-player taxi squad teams will be permitted to have throughout the season, or if the American Hockey League season does start on time Feb. 5, he’ll be available for the Henderson Silver Knights.
Here’s the full roster breakdown by position and jersey numbers, as well as the schedule.
