Watch Golden Knights prospect Nick Suzuki deke Canucks goalie out of his skates

The talk amongst Vegas Golden Knights fans has mostly centered around sensational 21-year-old forward Tyler Wong, who scored three goals and added an assist in the Knights’ 9-4 thumping of the Vancouver Canucks Sunday.

Despite his dominant showing, though, he wasn’t the only rookie with a standout performance against Vancouver.

Forward Nick Suzuki, selected in the first round of the NHL Entry Draft in June, scored a gorgeous highlight-reel goal on Canucks goalie Thatcher Demko that left the Vancouver netminder looking for his jockstrap.

Total disregard for human life.

The Golden Knights’ next preseason game will take place Tuesday night at 6 p.m. (PT) against the Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center, where Suzuki will be given another shot to show off his skills.

Suzuki isn’t expected to make the Golden Knights this season, but it may not be long before he does if he continues to play like this.
