GAME THREAD 19/82: Anaheim Ducks at Vegas Golden Knights

The Golden Knights (7-10-1) return home from a four-game road trip that didn’t exactly go according to plan. That’s because Vegas picked up just two points out of a possible eight.

However, the Knights are 4-2-1 at T-Mobile Arena this season and have won back-to-back games on home ice. Vegas will look to pick up its second win against the Ducks this season.

With Erik Haula now considered month-to-month, Cody Eakin will aim to continue his strong play as Vegas’ second-line center. He enters tonight’s contest with points in four straight games, with linemate Alex Tuch riding a three-game point streak.

Jon Merrill will draw back into the lineup for Brad Hunt, who is set to serve as a healthy scratch.

The Ducks (8-8-3) are coming off one of their best efforts of the season, a 2-1 shootout victory against the league-best Nashville Predators. Anaheim placed defenseman Cam Fowler and forward Patrick Eaves on injured reserve earlier today.

Here are the projected lineups for both clubs:
