GAMEDAY THREAD 34/82: Vegas Golden Knights at New Jersey Devils

The Golden Knights head to New Jersey to take on the Devils in part two of their four-game road trip after defeating the Islanders 3-2 Wednesday night.

The big news ahead of tonight’s tilt is that Paul Stastny will return to the lineup after missing two months of action. He will center the second line but will be skating with Alex Tuch and Oscar Lindberg as Max Pacioretty will be unable to suit up for tonight’s contest. Cody Eakin will center the third line between Tomas Nosek and Ryan Carpenter; Eakin and Stastny are set to skate on the second power-play unit.

Stastny has played in just three games for Vegas this season since signing a three-year, $19.5 million contract in the offseason. He has yet to record a point in a Golden Knights sweater but will look to do so tonight against Cory Schneider and the New Jersey Devils, who could be without reigning MVP Taylor Hall, who is listed as questionable for tonight’s matchup. Update: Hall will NOT play tonight.

Marc-Andre Fleury is expected to make his 12th straight start for Vegas.

Here are the projected lineups for both clubs:
