GAMEDAY THREAD 65/82: Florida Panthers at Vegas Golden Knights

With just over five weeks left in the 2018-19 regular season, the Golden Knights host the Florida Panthers at T-Mobile Arena tonight. Malcolm Subban will patrol the crease for the home team.

Vegas suffered a 3-1 loss to the Panthers in Sunrise at the beginning of the month, giving the Knights an all-time record of 1-1-1 against this Panthers club. However, the Knights feel like a brand new team with Mark Stone in the fold.

Speaking of Stone, Vegas has an undefeated record of 1-0-0 with Stone in the lineup on the line tonight, and there’s no shortage of narrative in tonight’s game considering all the Vegas ties to the Panthers organization.

The Golden Knights (33-26-5) are coming off an impressive 4-1 win against the Stars in which Vegas outshot Dallas 48-24. Vegas will look to finish off the month on a high note despite struggling throughout February with a 4-7-1 record.

Florida (28-25-9) has gone 8-5-1 this month and 6-3-1 in its last 10 games but sits nine points out of the second wildcard slot in the Eastern Conference.

Here are the projected lineups for both clubs:
