We already knew the Vegas Golden Knights would play their first ever NHL game on the road against the Dallas Stars on October 6 and have their home opener against the Arizona Coyotes on October 10.
Now we know the rest of the Golden Knights’ schedule! Here are some notable games for the 2017-18 season:
- The season begins with a two-game road trip, starting in Dallas and ending in Arizona.
- Vegas’ first game against the Los Angeles Kings will take place on Sunday, November 19. Los Angeles figures to be one of Vegas’ top rivals, so this game may get a little chippy, which would be lots of fun.
- James Neal will make his return to Nashville on Friday, December 8. Neal became a fan favorite during his three years with the Predators and should be fired up for the first game against his former team.
- Head coach Gerard Gallant will face his old team, the Florida Panthers, at home on Sunday, December 17.
- On Tuesday, February 6, Marc-André Fleury will make his return to the Steel City. Fleury spent 14 years in Pittsburgh, so it will surely be an emotional night for him as well as the Penguins fans in attendance./
