Laurent Brossoit Placed on Injured Reserve

Laurent Brossoit has been placed on injured reserve a day after it was announced he was day-to-day with a lower-body injury.

Brossoit has appeared in 3 games so far this season, and is 1-0-2 with a 2.82 goals against average and a .906 save percentage. He made 37 saves vs. the Chicago Blackhawks, 25 saves vs. the Calgary Flames, and 41 saves vs. the Dallas Stars including this one.

With Logan Thompson still sidelined, the current goaltending tandem will be Adin Hill as the starter, and Michael Hutchinson as the backup. This season Hill has posted a record of 14-6-1 with a 2.48 goals against average and a .912 save percentage. He will look to keep that up over the next stretch of games as Vegas attempts to stay on top of their division. The team next plays on March 1st vs. the Carolina Hurricanes, and they will then take on the New Jersey Devils on March 3rd.
