Merry Christmas from Knights on Ice

The star sits atop the colorful Fountain Square live Christmas tree on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023, in Downtown Cincinnati.

Merry Christmas ! We sincerely hope you enjoy the day however you decide to spend it. 2023 has been an interesting year, and one that saw the Vegas Golden Knights win the Stanley Cup which brought fans an incredible high point. That said, we know there were probably some low points for individuals reading this too.

The holidays can be a rough time of the year, and after everything that has gone on the last few years in the world, they may feel a little more daunting this year. You may be a daily reader, someone who pops in every now and again, or somewhere in between. No matter who you are, we appreciate your readership, and those who interact with our stories whether it be in the comments or on Twitter. We appreciate the support you’ve shown us since becoming independent, and thank you for your patience as we find our way and balancing real-world stuff in the process.

We hope you got some cool Vegas Golden Knights swag in your stocking, placed under the tree, or received from a friend or loved one. Enjoy the day however you decide to spend it, whether it be in person safely, or virtually through the use of Face Time, Zoom etc. The Winter Classic is coming up, and we know that will be a very fun moment to enjoy, and maybe you got some of that swag today.

To those who already celebrated Hanukkah, we hope you had an enjoyable experience however you decided to spend it. And for those who will start celebrating Kwanzaa on Tuesday, best wishes to you as well.

Thank you for being part of our community, and here’s to a great 2024 for you, for those you love, for the hockey community, and for Knights on Ice.

With lots of well wishes, and support —

Tom and Jillian
