Brayden Pachal Assigned To Henderson, Jake Leschyshyn Placed on Waivers

Today the Vegas Golden Knights announced two transactions.

The first is straightforward with defenseman Brayden Pachal being assigned to the Henderson Silver Knights. This year he’s appeared in 9 games with the Golden Knights in which he tallied 2 assists. He also skated 27 games with Henderson during which he posted a line of 2-6-8. The 23-year-old filled a much needed role while the main club was juggling some injuries, and he can now go back to playing a primary role in the minors.

The second transaction will require some time before official, although it would be shocking if Jake Leschyshyn were to be claimed. Leschyshyn, also 23, has primarily skated in the AHL throughout his career to date. He did start the season with Vegas, and in 22 games tallied 0 points. Last season he spent 37 games in the AHL while posting a line of 14-13-27, and 41 games with Vegas where he tallied 2 goals, 4 assists, and 6 points.
